NFL Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations For Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey

Jalen Ramsey's time with the Miami Dolphins appears to be nearing an end, as the team and the veteran cornerback have mutually agreed to explore trade options.

Despite being 30 and coming off a slightly down season, Ramsey remains a respected defender with a strong track record, including seven Pro Bowl selections and a Super Bowl ring.

ESPN analyst and former NFL safety Ryan Clark believes the Buffalo Bills should be among the teams interested, praising Ramsey as an “extremely versatile” player who could immediately strengthen Sean McDermott’s defense at multiple positions.

The Los Angeles Rams are another team that makes sense for a potential reunion. Ramsey enjoyed some of his best seasons with the Rams from 2019 to 2022, and their current secondary could use a proven starter.

With Darious Williams and Ahkello Witherspoon offering inconsistent production, Ramsey could step in as a leader and mentor for younger defensive backs like Cobie Durant.

The Rams' familiarity with Ramsey’s skill set and their use of zone-heavy coverage align well with his strengths, particularly in Cover-3 where he's been most effective in recent years.

The Atlanta Falcons also stand out as a logical landing spot. Head coach Raheem Morris previously coached Ramsey during their time together in Los Angeles and runs a defensive scheme well-suited to the veteran’s abilities.

While financial constraints could make the move tricky, Atlanta is clearly in win-now mode and may be willing to make adjustments to pair Ramsey with A.J. Terrell.

With the Falcons' pass defense allowing the second-most touchdowns in the league last season, adding a player like Ramsey could provide an immediate boost.
