NFL Rumors: 3 Best Landing Spots For Davante Adams

Davante Adams is on the move this offseason, and several teams stand out as ideal landing spots for the All-Pro receiver.

Green Bay Packers

A reunion in Green Bay makes plenty of sense for both Adams and the Packers. While Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Romeo Doubs have all flashed potential, none have solidified themselves as a true No. 1 receiver. Adams, who ranks second in Packers history in receptions (669) and touchdowns (73), could step right back in as Jordan Love’s go-to target and provide the leadership the young receiving corps needs. Green Bay has been vocal about adding a veteran pass-catcher, and Adams himself acknowledged their need for one, saying, "It’s looking right now like obviously they might need some receiver help in one way or the other." With the Packers emerging as a serious NFC contender, bringing Adams back would make them even more dangerous.

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City is always in the mix when top-tier talent becomes available, and Adams would be a perfect addition to Patrick Mahomes’ arsenal. The Chiefs’ receiving corps struggled last season, contributing to their Super Bowl loss against the Eagles. While Mahomes has proven he can make any receiver look good, Adams would give him an elite, reliable target alongside Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice. His ability to create separation and dominate in the red zone would take Kansas City's offense to another level. With the Chiefs looking to bolster their passing game, this move could be the difference in their pursuit of another championship.

Los Angeles Chargers

With Keenan Allen and Mike Williams gone, the Chargers need a true No. 1 receiver, and Adams fits the bill perfectly. Justin Herbert was forced to rely on young targets like Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey last season, but adding Adams would give him a polished, dependable playmaker who thrives in contested-catch situations. Los Angeles was reportedly aggressive in pursuing him last offseason, and with ample cap space, they could finally make it happen. In Jim Harbaugh’s offense, Adams would be the focal point of a retooled passing attack, providing Herbert with the security blanket he desperately needs.
