Deion Sanders Reveals What Team He Wants His Son To Be Drafted By
Speaking at the ProMat Conference in Chicago, the Colorado head coach said plainly, “Let’s hope it’s New York,” referring to the Giants, who currently hold the No. 3 overall pick.
That path would require both the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns — who pick ahead of the Giants — to pass on Shedeur, though the Titans are expected to take Cam Ward with the top selection.

Despite Shedeur’s talent and big-game experience, his draft stock has fluctuated in recent weeks, partly due to criticism of his demeanor in team interviews.
Deion has fiercely defended his son, calling recent reports of poor interviews “lies” and praising Shedeur's preparation for the spotlight. “He’s the most qualified young man that plays that position… built for that, and to be in front of the lights and to continuously shine,” Deion told NFL Network.
He even hinted at knowing which team leaked the critical reports and warned, “Don’t make me pull behind the curtains.”

The Giants recently signed veteran Jameis Winston, potentially giving Shedeur a year to learn before taking over the offense — a scenario Deion sees as ideal.
“I love what the Browns have done this offseason, but if I’m a young QB, ain’t no way I’m going to Cleveland,” Deion once posted back in 2018, a sentiment he may still hold, although seven years ago is obviously a long time.
With the Giants’ market, roster situation, and coaching staff all aligning with Deion’s vision, New York seems to be his top choice for where Shedeur begins his NFL journey.
