NFL Trade Rumors: Top Landing Spots For Joey Bosa
Despite dealing with injuries—missing 40 games in nine seasons—Bosa has remained productive, tallying 72 career sacks and earning five Pro Bowl selections.
His release would free up over $25 million in cap space for the Chargers, and teams in need of a pass-rusher will have the opportunity to sign him without giving up assets.
The San Francisco 49ers stand out as a logical destination, as they look to bolster their defensive line while reuniting Bosa with his younger brother, Nick Bosa.
“The opportunity to play with his brother could be an awfully tempting proposition,” wrote Tyler Brooke of The 33rd Team, and the 49ers’ recent defensive inconsistencies could make adding a veteran like Bosa a priority.

The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles are also strong possibilities.
Chicago’s defense has improved under GM Ryan Poles, but adding Bosa opposite Montez Sweat would give them an elite pass-rushing tandem.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are expected to lose Brandon Graham and could see Josh Sweat leave in free agency, leaving them with a significant need on the edge.
Bosa’s ability to create pressure and disrupt quarterbacks makes him an ideal fit for Philadelphia’s aggressive defensive front.
The Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys could also enter the mix, with Buffalo possibly moving on from Von Miller and Dallas searching for another edge rusher to complement Micah Parsons.

The Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Rams are other teams that could consider Bosa, but his durability will be a concern for any suitor.
The Rams have younger pass-rushers like Byron Young and Jared Verse, making it uncertain if they’d commit to an injury-prone veteran.
The Cardinals, however, are in desperate need of a game-changing edge rusher, and if Bosa is willing to take a short-term deal to rebuild his value, Arizona could make sense.
“A healthy Joey Bosa is still a good player, but his best days are more than likely behind him,” Richie Bradshaw of FanNation noted.
