Top Landing Spots For Diontae Johnson After Release By Ravens

Diontae Johnson's release from the Baltimore Ravens has sparked immediate interest across the NFL, with several playoff contenders eyeing the former Pro Bowl wide receiver.

Johnson's brief stint in Baltimore ended poorly, with just one catch for six yards and a suspension for refusing to play in a game.

However, his production with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he averaged 78 receptions and 873 yards per season over five years, keeps him in demand.

Teams like the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Los Angeles Chargers are already exploring the possibility of adding the talented pass-catcher.

The Buffalo Bills are a logical destination, where Johnson could provide quarterback Josh Allen with another dynamic weapon in a loaded receiving corps that includes Keon Coleman and Amari Cooper.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted Johnson’s remaining salary is minimal, making him a low-risk, high-reward addition. “Adding Johnson not only strengthens Buffalo but also keeps him away from rivals like the Chiefs,” one report stated.

His ability to thrive in high-pressure situations would make the Bills even more formidable as they gear up for the playoffs.

A reunion with the Steelers is also a strong possibility, as Pittsburgh deals with injuries to George Pickens and inconsistent production from their remaining receivers.

Familiar with Johnson's skill set and reliability, the Steelers could lean on him to boost their passing attack for a critical AFC North push.

Meanwhile, the Chargers are another intriguing fit, as Johnson’s polished route running would give Justin Herbert a dependable target alongside rookie standout Ladd McConkey.

As teams race to secure Johnson before the waiver deadline, his next destination could really shape the playoff landscape.
