NFL Trade Rumors: 4 Wide Receivers Drawing Trade Interest

With the NFL trade deadline fast approaching, four veteran wide receivers—Mike Williams, Adam Thielen, Darius Slayton, and K.J. Osborn—are emerging as potential targets for teams looking to add depth and experience.

Mike Williams, currently with the New York Jets, is reportedly drawing interest from his former team, the Los Angeles Chargers.

Though Williams has seen limited production this season with only 12 catches for 166 yards, his familiarity with the Chargers' system could be a valuable asset for their thin receiving corps.

However, the Jets might retain Williams if other depth players continue to struggle with injuries, especially since he has recently returned to a more prominent role following an injury to Allen Lazard.

Adam Thielen of the Carolina Panthers is also generating interest, particularly from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Although Thielen has been sidelined by a lingering hamstring issue, his experience as a reliable slot option makes him an appealing target for teams in need of a seasoned receiver.

With the Panthers focused on developing younger players, trading Thielen could free up cap space and create opportunities for rookies like Jalen Coker.

Meanwhile, Darius Slayton of the New York Giants has shown flashes of strong play this season with 420 receiving yards, despite a recent concussion.

As a potential free agent next season, Slayton could be on the move, with the Steelers among those monitoring his health and availability closely.

Rounding out the list is K.J. Osborn of the New England Patriots, who has struggled to find consistent playing time amid a youth movement in the Patriots’ receiving group.

Despite being a healthy scratch on multiple occasions this season, Osborn’s track record—three consecutive years with over 500 receiving yards during his time with the Minnesota Vikings—has kept his trade value alive.

Teams looking for reliable depth at receiver are eyeing Osborn as a potential low-risk, high-reward addition as they aim to fortify their rosters for a playoff push.
