According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, while teams are "fishing" for Garrett’s availability, the Browns are not actively looking to move their star defensive end.
“I don’t think they’ll move Myles Garrett,” Breer noted, emphasizing that Cleveland is listening to calls but remains reluctant to part with the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, who is under contract for two more years.

Garrett’s situation differs from that of recently traded wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was sent to the Buffalo Bills as he approached free agency.
Garrett, in contrast, is a franchise cornerstone, consistently ranking among the NFL’s top pass-rushers with four sacks, 17 tackles, and two forced fumbles so far this season.
Breer added that prying Garrett away from Cleveland would require an “astronomical” offer, proving the Browns' hesitancy to deal him even amid a potential rebuild.

While Garrett remains unlikely to be traded, other Browns veterans like Za'Darius Smith and Jack Conklin could be more realistic targets as the team explores its options.
However, with a rough season underway and the prospect of a rebuild, Cleveland’s willingness to entertain calls signals that, despite the low probability, a blockbuster offer could still prompt them to consider parting ways with one of the league's most dominant defensive players.
