NFL Rumors: Several Teams Showing Trade Interest In Bryce Young

The Carolina Panthers are receiving growing trade interest in quarterback Bryce Young, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2023 NFL Draft, despite the team's public stance that they have "no intention" of trading him.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, several NFL teams have already contacted the Panthers about a potential deal, while others are reportedly weighing the idea internally.

Although head coach Dave Canales has stated that moving Young is "not something we're really considering," sources around the league believe it might only be a matter of time before the Panthers reconsider.

Young's rocky start to his second season, coupled with a difficult 2-14 rookie campaign, has led to his benching in favor of veteran Andy Dalton.

Through the first two games of 2024, Young completed just 55.4% of his passes with no touchdowns and three interceptions, contributing to the Panthers' 0-2 start.

His struggles have significantly impacted his trade value, but teams around the league still view him as a promising talent worth pursuing.

Carolina invested heavily in drafting Young, giving up multiple assets, including their 2024 first-round pick, in a trade with the Chicago Bears to secure him.

Despite this, Schefter reported that "several teams" believe a deal could materialize, likely in the upcoming offseason.

While Young's future in Carolina remains uncertain, some of his teammates continue to express confidence in his abilities.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen recently voiced his support, saying, “Watching him practice today, the throws he was making, his confidence — you know he can do this at a high level.”
