Baltimore Ravens Sign Pro-Bowl Quarterback

The Baltimore Ravens have brought back a familiar face by re-signing quarterback Tyler Huntley to their practice squad, just days after his release from the Cleveland Browns.

Huntley, who originally joined the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Utah in 2020, spent his first four NFL seasons with Baltimore.

During that time, he stepped up as the starting quarterback in the 2021 and 2022 seasons when injuries sidelined Lamar Jackson.

Huntley’s most notable moment came during the 2022 playoffs, where he nearly led the Ravens to an upset victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, though a critical fumble at the goal line ultimately cost them the game.

Huntley’s brief offseason stint with the Browns saw him competing for a backup role behind Jameis Winston and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

However, with Cleveland deciding to move forward with Winston and Thompson-Robinson, Huntley was released, allowing the Ravens to quickly swoop in and bring him back.
