NFL Rumors: Hunter Renfrow Linked To Saints In Free Agency

The New Orleans Saints have been linked to wide receiver Hunter Renfrow as a good landing spot in free agency, as noted by Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report.

Renfrow, a former Pro Bowler, was released by the Las Vegas Raiders in the spring and remains a free agent.

With the Saints looking to bolster their receiving corps ahead of the 2024 season, Renfrow's familiarity with quarterback Derek Carr, his former teammate in Las Vegas, makes him a logical fit for New Orleans.

Last season, the 28-year-old made 25 receptions on 37 targets for 255 yards and zero touchdowns across 17 games played.

Renfrow's recent seasons have been hampered by injuries, but his reliable hands and precise route-running could provide the Saints with much-needed depth behind Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

As the team aims to make a strong playoff push, Renfrow's experience and connection with Carr could be a valuable addition, especially in critical third-down situations.

Knox suggests that while Renfrow may not be signed immediately, the Saints could bring him in during the regular season to further strengthen their offense.
