NFL Rumors: Browns Make One Of Their Players Available For Trade

The Cleveland Browns are reportedly engaged in trade discussions involving second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, with multiple teams expressing interest in acquiring the promising young signal-caller.

Thompson-Robinson, a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, has impressed in his limited NFL action, making three starts as a rookie before a hip injury ended his season prematurely.

This preseason, he has continued to demonstrate his potential, completing 27 of 35 passes for 260 yards across two outings against the Packers and Vikings.

Despite his strong performances, Thompson-Robinson currently finds himself competing with Tyler Huntley for the Browns' No. 3 quarterback spot behind established veterans Deshaun Watson and Jameis Winston.

The Browns are exploring a trade for Thompson-Robinson as they look to address other roster needs, particularly on the offensive line, where injuries to starting tackles Jedrick Wills Jr. and Jack Conklin have created concerns.

Cleveland's interest in using Thompson-Robinson as a trade chip shows his value as a young quarterback with real NFL experience, making him an attractive option for teams looking to bolster their quarterback depth.

The Browns are reportedly seeking an experienced offensive lineman or another key position player in return, as they prepare for the upcoming regular season.
