NFL Rumors: Davante Adams' Agent Speaks On Trade Rumors

Davante Adams' agents, Kenny Chapman and Frank Bauer, have unequivocally dismissed the trade rumors surrounding the Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver.

In a statement to ESPN's Adam Schefter, they labeled the speculation as "baseless" and "unfounded," asserting that there has been "absolutely no trade talk" involving Adams.

They emphasized that Adams is expected to remain with the Raiders, quelling the persistent rumors that had been circulating.

The trade speculation gained momentum after Aaron Rodgers, Adams' former quarterback with the Green Bay Packers and now with the New York Jets, hinted at a potential reunion during a recent golf tournament.

Rodgers' comments, suggesting his desire to play with Adams again, added fuel to the rumor mill, despite no official discussions taking place. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and WFAN's Boomer Esiason further amplified the rumors, with reports of the Jets' interest in Adams to bolster their offense.

Despite the buzz, Adams' agents insisted that there has been no movement towards a trade, and the Raiders remain committed to keeping their star receiver.

Since joining the Raiders in 2022, Adams has made a significant impact, catching 22 touchdowns in two seasons. According to his agents, he will continue to be a key player for Las Vegas, with no trade on the horizon.
