Former Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver Reinstated By The NFL
The NFL has seen some incredibly talented young players come and go over the years, and unfortunately, sometimes that type of talent has been ruined by off the field issues, and nowhere is that more evident than former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Martavis Bryant.
In 44 games between 2014 and 2018, Bryant played in Pittsburgh and Oakland, tallying 145 catches for 2,183 yards and 17 Touchdowns, but was suspended indefinitely by the NFL after several issues with substance abuse.
The now 31-year old has since played in the XFL, and his return has drawn plenty of interest from NFL teams, and given what we saw last summer in the XFL, there's no doubting that while he can't be a WR1 in the league today, he could be a very effective player.Veteran WR Martavis Bryant, who last played in the NFL in 2018, has been reinstated by Commissioner Roger Goodell and is drawing interest from teams, per his agent James Peterson.
