Report: Pittsburgh Steelers Star Tight End To Remain Out For Significant Time
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been off to a solid start in 2023, and with a wide open AFC North, anything could happen over the next 11 weeks, meaning the team will be looking to get back one of their biggest weapons as soon as they possibly can.
Unfortunately, NFL Insider Tom Pelissero has revealed some bad news ahead of a Week 7 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, as Pat Friermuth is expected to miss the game, and with his latest MRI results coming back, his return to action could be delayed even more.
The star tight end has played in just four games this season, tallying 8 catches for 53 yards and 2 Touchdowns, and without him, the offence has struggled mightily, so the team will be looking to get him back as soon as humanly possible.#Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth is expected to miss Sunday’s game against the #Rams and likely will be sidelined longer after aggravating his hamstring in practice Thursday, per sources.
