Report: Indianapolis Colts Standout Rookie To Miss Extended Period Of Time
The Indianapolis Colts have been off to a surprisingly great start under rookie Quarterback Anthony Richardson, with their 3-2 record having them sitting tied atop the AFC South with Jacksonville, but now, they've taken a major hit.
After suffering an injury in their latest win, the Colts are now seemingly preparing for the scenario that Richardson will miss between 4-6 weeks, and while they've got plenty of confidence in Gardner Minshew, this is a massive blow to their season.
Through four games, Richardson has accounted for 7 Touchdowns and just 3 turnovers, and with the team humming under their rookie star, this will be a setback, but if he can get healthy for the stretch run, they'll be in with a shot at the AFC South crown.Anthony Richardson had the MRI on his shoulder. The Colts are waiting for the results to confirm the initial diagnosis of a Grade 3 AC joint sprain, per sources. The team is bracing for the QB to miss 4-6 weeks of time.
