NFL Rumors: New York Jets Veteran Growing Frustrated With His Role
The New York Jets have seemingly turned their team around despite the loss of Aaron Rodgers, and with a blend of veteran stars and rising stars, they have a great shot at the playoffs in 2023, but it doesn't appear that everyone is happy.
After joining the Jets as a free agent, veteran running back Dalvin Cook has recently made some comments to the media, claiming he is frustrated with his current role, as Jets writers reveal that he expected an even split of carries with young star Breece Hall.
Unsurprisingly, given their different levels of burst, speed and production, the Jets have opted to use Hall as their overwhelming RB1 since he got healthy, and now, with the trade deadline looming, a deal or a potential release becomes a possibility for Cook.#Jets RB Dalvin Cook says “I want to play” and “I want the situation to be best for both sides.”

“Of course it’s frustrating,” his current role.
It doesn’t sound like he’s ok with usage. He expected it to be a split between him & Breece Hall. Instead, he’s been fazed out. pic.twitter.com/mOVM3uzzh3
