NFL Rumors: New York Jets Open To Trading Two Key Veterans
The New York Jets came into the 2023 season with so much hope, and while the season is still alive as they sit at 2-3 ahead of a battle with the Philadelphia Eagles, and as the trade deadline approaches, they'll be a team to keep a close eye on.
In a recent report from ESPN's Dianna Russini, it has been revealed that the Jets are listening to calls on both defensive end Carl Lawson and running back Dalvin Cook, both of whom carry hefty price tags, part of which the Jets could eat to facilitate a deal.
The Jets seemingly still have hopes of a playoff run with a very winnable second half schedule, so if they can move two veterans to pick up future assets, it would be a great move, but whether or not the offers are there is a story yet to be seen.REPORT: The #Jets are willing to trade DE Carl Lawson and it's possible the team is even open to trade RB Dalvin Cook, per @DMRussini
