NFL Rumors: Buffalo Bills Edge Rusher Von Miller Could Return for Week 5

The Buffalo Bills may get some reinforcements for their trip across the pond. Speaking on his podcast 'The Von Cast', Bills edge rusher Von Miller revealed he hopes to return for this coming Sunday's matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, England pending his performance in practice this week.

Miller has been out since suffering a torn ACL in Week 12 of the 2022 regular season against the Detroit Lions. He joined the Bills last offseason on a six-year, $120 million deal after a stellar 10-year career that included a Super Bowl win and MVP with the Denver Broncos in 2015 and another Super Bowl win with the Los Angeles Rams in 2022. His 123.5 career sacks are the most among active players.

Miller remained an effective player last year even at 33 years old, logging 8.0 sacks and 10 tackles for loss over 11 starts. If he's fully recovered, he should provide some added juice to a Bills pass rush that is already among the best in the league with 16 sacks in four games.

That all being said, Miller is another year older and coming off a major knee injury. He may be an eight-time Pro Bowler, a three-time All-Pro, and a future Hall of Famer, but even he has his limits. Thankfully, the Bills signed him as a luxury. Even without him, they've allowed a mere 13.8 points per game in the league this season, the second-best mark in the league.
