New York Jets Place Two More Offensive Lineman On Injured Reserve
The New York Jets, despite the loss of Aaron Rodgers have caught fire in recent times, winning three straight to get themselves to 4-3 on the year, but unfortunately, during a rain-soaked, comeback win against the Giants, the injury toll continued to mount.
Now, the day after their improbable victory, the Jets confirmed that both C Connor McGovern and OL Wes Schweitzer will be headed to injury reserve, and after losing Duane Brown and Alijah Vera-Tucker early in the year, the team could almost field a great offensive line with the injuries they've had thus far.
On top of that, veteran defensive tackle Al Woods will miss the rest of the campaign, and with the injuries mounting, the Jets may struggle to finish out the year, but for now, they've shown just how much fight they have in them as a team.Coach Saleh confirms that DT Al Woods will miss the remainder of the season.
