Achane now will miss the Dolphins’ next four games - Carolina, at Philadelphia, New England, at Kansas City.

Achane has been nothing short of phenomenal across his last three games, compiling a staggering 455 rushing yards at an eye-popping 12.3 yards per attempt. Unfortunately, he sustained a knee injury in Week 5's 31-16 win over the New York Giants. He still managed an impressive 165 yards from scrimmage on only 26 snaps.
Achane has been the single most impressive rookie of the 2023 season, so he'll be sorely missed by a Dolphins squad averaging a league-best 36.2 points per game. He was arguably the star of the Dolphins' iconic 70-20 drubbing of the Denver Broncos in Week 3, totalling 233 yards and four touchdowns on a mere 22 touches.
Achane will miss key games against the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs. He'll be eligible to return in a Week 11 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, following a Week 10 bye.
In the meantime, the Dolphins will lean more heavily on Raheem Mostert, who has been impressive in his own right. Mostert hasn't been quite as explosive as Achane, but he has posted solid marks in yards per rush (5.4), yards per target (7.5), and yards from scrimmage per game (88.4) across his five starts. The Dolphins will inevitably fall off their record-setting pace without Achane (how could they not?), but they should remain one of the NFL's better offenses.
