Chicago Bears Officially Trade Wide Receiver To The AFC East
The Chicago Bears picked up their first win in almost a calendar year on Thursday against the Washington Commanders, and to follow it up on Friday, they managed to find a trade partner for the disgruntled Chase Claypool.
The team have now traded him and a 2025 7th round pick to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a 2025 6th round pick, and while it may be good to get him away from their locker room, that's a major difference to the 32nd overall pick that they traded for him last year.
While it must be a major disappointment for Chicago, they've now got D.J. Moore who put on an incredible performance on Thursday, and with Justin Fields seemingly turning a corner, this was simply the best move for the Bears to make.Details: #Bears are trading a 2025 7th round pick and WR Chase Claypool to the #Dolphins for a 2025 6th round pick, per @DMRussini
