BREAKING: Los Angeles Chargers Trade Star Cornerback To The AFC East
The Los Angeles Chargers have been off to a slow start in 2023, despite a solid 2-2 record that has them sitting in second place in the AFC West, and now, they've shaken up their roster with a blockbuster deal ahead of Week 5.
According to Ian Rapoport, the Chargers have now traded star cornerback J.C. Jackson and a 2025 7th round pick to the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2024 6th round pick, just a short stint after he left the team for Los Angeles in free agency, with many in the Chargers organization being disappointed with his drop off in play since a big free agent deal.
Despite the Patriots also sitting at 1-3 and third place in the AFC East, they look to get their defence going with this big move, as they hope to get back the Jackson that became a major star with the organization for years.JC Jackson became a star with the #Patriots before cashing in during free agency.
