Report: Minnesota Vikings Acquire Los Angeles Rams Running Back
The Los Angeles Rams have been rumoured to be moving young running back Cam Akers for well over 12 months now, and after the rumours popped back up recently, they've now officially moved on from him.
According to Adam Schefter, the Minnesota Vikings have now officially acquired Akers from the Rams for a swap of 2026 draft picks, and while it's not much of a return, it's a move that makes sense for both teams.

In two full seasons with the Rams, Akers has tallied 1,443 rushing yards and another 250 as a receiver with 11 combined Touchdowns, and after the Vikings moved on from Dalvin Cook this summer, he joins Alexander Mattison in what could be a talented backfield for the Vikings potential playoff push.
