NFL Rumours: Two Veteran QB's Have Reached Out To The New York Jets
The New York Jets have struggled in their past two games since losing Aaron Rodgers to a season ending injury, and while Robert Saleh has committed to Zach Wilson as their starting Quarterback, it's becoming clear that a change needs to happen soon.
After reports surfaced that Colin Kaepernick reached out to the team in the aftermath of Rodgers injury, it's now being reported that two more names have thrown their hat in the ring for the Jets, with both veterans Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz contacting the team as well.
While neither are on the level of Aaron Rodgers, it's recently become clear that Wilson may not be the player to lead this talented team forward, and with Nathaniel Hackett's play calling struggling over the past two weeks, perhaps a former MVP or a Super Bowl Champion could be the better option at Quarterback.Veteran QBs Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz have both reached out to the #Jets expressing interest in joining the team, per @JayGlazer.
