NFL Rumors: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Superstar In His Final Year With The Team
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers outlook in 2023 is quite different to what it has been over the past few years, and now, it appears that one of the biggest stars in franchise history could be done after 10 seasons with the team.
According to a recent report, Mike Evans' agent has revealed that unless the two teams come to an agreement on a contract extension by Week 1, Evans is likely done with the team, and given the reported asking price of three-years, $80 million (the deal signed by Cooper Kupp), it's unlikely to happen.
In nine seasons with the Buccaneers, Evans has over 1,000 receiving yards in every single one of them, and now, he becomes a genuine trade target for many playoff teams, so keep an eye on Evans and the Buccaneers over the next few weeks.Deadline set: #Buccaneers WR Mike Evans’ agent says in a statement he will cut off contract negotiations if the sides don’t reach a deal by next Saturday, one day before Tampa’s season kicks off.
