NFL Rumors: New York Jets Throw Support Behind Young QB, Will Remain Starter
The New York Jets 2023 season opener was a rollercoaster of emotion for fans, as the excitement of the off-season finally came to a head, only to see the loss of their star Quarterback before a dramatic overtime victory over the division rival Bills.
Now, news has confirmed Aaron Rodgers is done for the season after just four snaps, with many fans now looking towards the free agent market or a trade for a veteran Quarterback, but for now, the Jets are behind Zach Wilson, who was solid in the victory against a very talented Bills team.
This season was one full of promise for the Jets, and after week one, they've now clearly got some questions to answer, but if Wilson can take the leap after learning from Rodgers all summer long, this could be a team that can still do some major damage.Robert Saleh says the Jets will "look through some things" in regards to adding a quarterback, but emphasizes that Zach Wilson will be the starter:
