New York Jets Sign A Much Needed Veteran Quarterback
After the devastating loss of Aaron Rodgers just four plays into a highly anticipated 2023 season, the New York Jets have rolled with former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson ever since, and after a 1-2 start, it became clear that they needed a change.
On Tuesday, they finally picked up a new name at the position, and no, it's not Colin Kaepernick, Carson Wentz or Matt Ryan, instead, it's former Jets Quarterback Trevor Siemian.
Siemian played with the Jets back in the 2019 season, throwing just 6 passes in regular season action, and after spending the past two years with the Saints and Bears, he's now back with the Jets, and while it may seem like an underwhelming move, he's got over 7,000 yards and a 42/28 TD/INT ration in his career, and could be a solid option for the team. We‘ve signed QB Trevor Siemian to the practice squad.
