Houston Texans Young Defensive Back To Miss Significant Time
The Houston Texans may be 0-2 to start the 2023 season, they've taken some promising steps forward under new Quarterback C.J. Stroud, but unfortunately, just as things were looking up, they've now lost another key piece of their team.
According to a report, young cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. is expected to be missing for the next 6-8 weeks with a hamstring injury, and after missing significant time a season ago, the Texans must be growing frustrated with the situation.
Stingley was taken one pick ahead of Defensive Rookie of the Year and All-Pro Sauce Gardner, but with so much talent, if he can stay on the field, he'll be a leader for this group for years to come, so they'll remain confident he can get back on the field for good.Update: #Texans CB Derek Stingley Jr. is expected to be out 6-8 weeks with his hamstring injury, per @KPRC2
