Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Suffers Season Ending Injury
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers start a new era in 2023 after the departure of Tom Brady, and with Baker Mayfield as their starting Quarterback, they'll be hoping they can get all the help possible with all of their talented offensive weapons.
Unfortunately on Wednesday, it appears Head Coach Todd Bowles has revealed the worst news possible for one of those weapons in Russell Gage, who he says has suffered a 'pretty serious' non-contact injury, which would be a bad break for the team and Gage.
After dealing with plenty of injury issues, ESPN have now confirmed this will end Gage's 2023 season before it could even begin, so now the team will look to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin with very little depth around them.#Bucs HC Todd Bowles said WR Russell Gage suffered a “pretty serious” non-contact injury during today’s practice.
