Philadelphia Eagles Release Former Second-Round Pick
The Philadelphia Eagles were just a matter of moments away from another Super Bowl victory last season, and now with a talented roster, they're preparing to go one step further in 2023-24 with a wide open NFC in front of them.
One of their biggest strengths for quite some time now has been their depth all over the field, but on Saturday, they made the surprising decision to release cornerback and former second-round draft pick Greedy Williams.
That pick came with the Browns, and over his four-year career he has been a solid contributor, but with plenty of depth around the league at the position, he may not find a starting role anytime soon, so it will be interesting to see where the talented young corner ends up.The #Eagles released CB Greedy Williams.
