Las Vegas Raiders Agree To Terms On A New Deal With Star Running Back
The Las Vegas Raiders have had a very busy off-season thus far, but now, with just two weeks to go until the regular season begins, it appears they've settled one of their biggest issues heading into the 2023-24 NFL season.
After holding out through training camp, the 2022 NFL rushing leader Josh Jacobs has now come to terms on a new deal with the Raiders, paying him up to $12 million over one-year, and with DeVante Adams on the outside, the offence is complete once more.
This doesn't get him locked in on a long-term deal like he would have preferred, but it will pay him what he deserves, among the elite running backs in todays NFL, and if he can back up last years performance, we could be seeing a long-term deal next summer. He’s back: The #Raiders and star RB Josh Jacobs have agreed to terms on a new one-year contract that can be worth up to $12M, sources tell me and @TomPelissero, taking the place of the franchise tag.
