NFL Rumors: Dallas Cowboys Star Guard Likely To Hold Out Of Camp
The Dallas Cowboys have seemingly had a solid off-season, devoid of any drama or media negativity, but as Training Camp begins around the league, they received some potentially bad news on their offensive line going forward.
On the same day it was revealed that All-Pro Guard Zack Martin was to be rated an impressive 99 in the upcoming Madden 24 video game, it is now being reported that he is considering not reporting to training camp, as he is unhappy with his contract while the team appear to have no intention of making changes to it.
In 8 seasons at the NFL level, the 32-year old has been stellar throughout, being named to the All-Pro team in each and every season (6 first-team, 2 second-team), and after signing a solid long-term deal, he is now way underpaid according to market value, so until he gets fairly compensated, it appears Dallas will be without a top offensive lineman.Cowboys’ six-time All-Pro guard and team captain Zack Martin is considering not reporting to training camp due to his unhappiness with his contract and the team’s lack of interest in restructuring it, per sources.
