Longtime NFL Center Officially Announces Retirement
The NFL is certainly a gruelling game, and over the years, we've seen several players forced to retire due to injuries before their career can really get going, and unfortunately, the same thing has now happened to a great centre.
That centre is Chase Roullier, who today had to announce his retirement at just 29-years of age due to the mounting injuries he's suffered over his seven year career, played entirely with the Washington Commanders.
Over that time, Roullier played in 69 games, starting 63 of them, and while injuries limited him from ever living up to his potential, he was a solid starter in the NFL, and it's always disappointing for players to have to call it quits early, especially due to constant injuries.Update: Former long-time #Commanders starting Center Chase Roullier has announced his retirement at age 29, mostly due to injuries.
