Breaking: New York Jets Superstar Signs Massive Contract Extension

 

Just one day after it was officially announced the New York Jets will be featured on the 2023 edition of HBO's Hard Knocks, they got rid of one of the biggest potential headaches for the show, as they have now signed superstar DT Quinnen Williams to a massive contract extension.

The deal is four years, worth $96 million, including $66 million in guarantees, as he becomes the first New York Jets first-round pick since Mohammad Wilkerson back in 2011 to sign a second contract with the team as he becomes the second highest paid DT in the league.

The money is well deserved, as Williams has been fantastic over the past few years, including a career year in 2022 where he tallied 55 tackles, 12 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 4 passes defended and 5.5 tackles for loss, and as the leader of this Jets defence, they're happy to have now locked him in long-term.
