Breaking: Jacksonville Jaguars Extend Star Tight End
The Jacksonville Jaguars took a massive leap forward in 2022-23 on the back of a breakout season from young Quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and while there's many contributing factors to that success, a lot of it comes from the weapons put around No. 16.
One contributor that surprised many was veteran tight end Evan Engram, and after a career year this past season, he was given the franchise tag, but now, the team have agreed to a three-year deal that will keep Lawrence's favourite target in town for a while longer.
With Lawrence, Engram racked up a career high in yards with 766 on 73 catches with 4 Touchdowns, and with the addition of Calvin Ridley to this offence, the Jaguars are finally looking like a genuine threat in the crowded AFC.Compensation update: Jaguars’ franchise TE Evan Engram is signing a three-year, $41.25 million deal that includes $24 million fully guaranteed, per source. https://t.co/5jnqpT0qYx
