Report: Indianapolis Colts Player Under Investigation For Betting On Games
Over the past few years, one of the biggest stories in the NFL was the year long suspension handed down to then Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who was allegedly caught gambling on NFL games, and now, just months after his suspension ended, the league are now investigating another occurrence of betting on NFL games.
This time, it's Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers, but this time, it has been reported that Rodgers not only bet on NFL games, but directly on his own team as well, which is something that has rarely come up in the history of the NFL.
Over the past three years, Rodgers has appeared in 45 games for the Colts, but this latest development is yet another drama for the NFL, something that seems constant in recent times, and while he's yet to be proven guilty, this isn't a good look for the Colts, Rodgers or the NFL.Update: #Colts CB/ST Isaiah Rodgers has been identified as the player being investigated for possible violations of the NFL's gambling policy, as @TheDestinAdams reported. Rodgers has played 1500+ total snaps in 3 years and started 9 games last season.https://t.co/RMWLKw4hKb
