The New England Patriots have had a solid, quiet off-season thus far, but unfortunately in the NFL, drama is never far away, as young Patriots cornerback Jack Jones was recently arrested on gun possession charges, and now, he could be in a lot of trouble.
Reportedly, Jones is facing over 30 years in prison if he were convicted and sentences consecutively on each charge, and after such a promising start to his career, this would be a devastating setback.
It's unclear at this point what will happen with the process, as it will take time, but right now, it doesn't look good for the 25-year old who is facing several charges after attempting to board a plane with two loaded firearms, so all eyes will be on the young cornerback in the coming weeks.Update: #Patriots CB Jack Jones could be facing over 30 years in prison, per the DA’s office via the @BostonGlobe
