NFL Rumors: Washington Commanders Open To Offers On Former Top Draft Pick
Despite competing in one of the toughest divisions in the entire NFL, the Washington Commanders are optimistic about their chances at a playoff spot in 2023/24, but that doesn't mean they're completely set with the roster they currently have.
While the team aren't actively shopping him, the Washington Commanders are reportedly open to listen to trade offers on former No. 2 overall pick Chase Young, who has shown flashes of being an impact player early in his career, but has unfortunately dealt with plenty of injury issues as well.
In 27 games over three years at the NFL level, Young has recorded 75 combined tackles, 9 sacks (7.5 in his rookie year before injuries struck), 7 passes deflected and 6 forced fumbles, and while his value is currently at an all-time low, he's proven he can get the job done, and now we will see if teams around the league believe he can get back to that level.Update: The #Commanders are 'Open to listen' to trade offers about former 2nd overall pick DE Chase Young.
