NFL Rumors: Surprising NFC Team Made A Run At Star QB Last Off-Season
Last off-season was one of the most wild in NFL history, as the star movement was something to truly behold, and perhaps the biggest and most shocking move of all was the Denver Broncos making a big splash, landing star Quarterback Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks.
In his first season away from Pete Carroll, seemingly everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, which is why the Philadelphia Eagles are surely glad that they didn't land the former Super Bowl winning QB, as they reportedly offered a big package to Seattle, with Wilson refusing to accept a deal to Philly.
Ultimately, Jalen Hurts ended up taking a major leap forward, landing a spot on the second-team All-Pro squad and eventually leading his team to the Super Bowl, so it's safe to say that the Eagles and their fans are all very glad this deal didn't come to fruition.Report: The #Eagles offered a trade to the #Seahawks for QB Russell Wilson last season but Wilson refused to waive his no-trade clause for Philadelphia.
