NFL Rumors: Miami Dolphins Offensive Lineman To Hold Out For A New Contract
Over the past few years, the Miami Dolphins have put together an incredibly talented squad, and if they can stay healthy in 2023/24, many believe they could be a Super Bowl threat in the AFC, but even after these great moves, they've still got some things to deal with.
At the top of that list right now is centre Connor Williams, who is now holding out from mandatory mini camp in order to get a new contract, this coming just over 12 months after signing a two-year, $14 million deal with the Dolphins in March of 2022.
The 26-year old has started 60 out of 66 games played since joining the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys as a second round pick back in the 2018 NFL Draft, and now, he's looking to get paid on a long-term deal, and for a team needing to protect Tua Tagovailoa in a big way, a deal should get done sometime soon.Update: #Dolphins starting OL Connor Williams is holding out mandatory minicamp and is seeking a new contract.
