NFL Rumors: 2 Dark Horse Landing Spots for DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins is one of the most notable free agents still left on the board. Although the New England Patriots and Tennesee Titans are currently the frontrunners for his services, two dark horse teams have now emerged as possible landing spots as well - the Cleveland Browns and Carolina Panthers.

The Browns are looking to improve their wide receiver depth for Deshaun Watson. When noting that Hopkins and Watson have chemistry together due to their days on the Houston Texans, it would make sense for the Browns to reunite these two. Perhaps it could be the jolt they need to get back into the playoffs.

The Panthers, on the other hand, have been extremely aggressive this offseason. They have added many pieces to their offense and now have Bryce Young as their quarterback. Thus, it could be intriguing for them to add Hopkins, as it would provide Young with a star WR to work with.

Alas, it will be interesting to see what happens with Hopkins from here, but we should all keep an eye on Cleveland and Carolina as potential landing spots for him.
