Timeline On Dallas Cowboys Running Back's Return Revealed
The Dallas Cowboys made the big decision to move on from their franchise running back this off-season when they cut long-time Cowboy Ezekiel Elliott, but with young Tony Pollard emerging, Cowboys fans have a reason for optimism heading into 2023.
After suffering a major leg injury in their NFC Divisional Round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Pollard was expected to return late in the off-season, but has now admitted he's ahead of schedule, including a potential return to the team before training camp begins.
2022 was a career year for Pollard, as he racked up 1,007 yards rushing with 9 Touchdowns, adding 371 yards and another 3 Touchdowns in the air, and if he can be healthy for 2023, he may be a key reason for the Cowboys to finally go deep in the playoffs.Cowboys RB Tony Pollard said he’s running and cutting full speed: “I’m a little bit ahead of schedule. … I’m not really limited at this point, it’s just being smart with it.” pic.twitter.com/lUelOGdqy6
