Seattle Seahawks Rumors: Titans QB On Team's Radar

Tennessee Titans quarterback Malik Willis has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill, and now a new team is expressing interest in him – the Seattle Seahawks.

Although the Seahawks are going to roll with Geno Smith as their starter after re-signing him this offseason, it would not hurt for Seattle to bring in a young quarterback who has good potential like Willis as a backup. The primary reason why they would acquire him is that they believe that Willis can improve his development by having a veteran QB like Smith as his mentor.

Willis appeared in eight games as a rookie last season, where he threw zero touchdowns, three interceptions, and completed 50.8% of his passes. Overall, it was a rough rookie campaign for him, but perhaps a change of scenery could help him turn things around in 2023. Let's see if the Seahawks end up bringing him in for insurance from here.
