San Francisco 49ers Quarterback To Begin Throwing Again Next Week After Injury
The San Francisco 49ers were just one game from the Super Bowl this past season, but unfortunately, with an already injury Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance, the 49ers lost Brock Purdy due to injury, essentially derailing their chances against an incredibly tough Philadelphia Eagles team.
Afterwards, Purdy underwent surgery to hopefully get him back in time for Week 1 of the 2023 season, and while that recovery period is still up in the air, he has now been cleared to begin throwing next week, a big step in his potential return.
With Sam Darnold and Trey Lance on the roster now, there's a good chance that one of them get a Week 1 start if Purdy can't return but for now, things are looking very positive for the young star as he heads into a much anticipated second season. After roughly three months of not being able to throw, Brock Purdy can begin throwing next week… https://t.co/WjN2dlkN9r
