Patriots Release Receiver
The New England Patriots have released wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr., the team announced on Wednesday.

Bowden Jr., signed with New England's practice squad on September 1, 2022, and rose to their active roster to see his lone action against the Colts on November 6th of last season in uniform. He later signed a future contract with the Patriots on January 30, 2023.
The 25-year-old pass catcher originally entered the NFL with the Raiders as a third-round selection in 2020. He was traded to Miami before his rookie campaign started on September 5, 2020, appearing in 10 games (four starts) for the Dolphins and caught 28 passes for 211 yards. Bowden Jr. spent the entirety of the 2021-22 season on IR, and was released by the AFC east club on August 30, 2022.
