NFL Suspends New York Jets Cornerback
New York Jets cornerback Brandin Echols has been handed a one-game suspension by the NFL for a violation of the league's personal conduct policy.
The suspension follows an unfortunate incident that occurred in April 2022, where Echols was involved in a two-car crash.

According to ESPN's Rich Cimini, Echols was reportedly driving at a speed of 84 mph in a 50 mph zone at the time of the accident.
Tragically, the collision resulted in the other driver suffering a spinal cord injury, requiring multiple surgeries.
Following the incident, Echols saw a decline in his involvement with the Jets' defense during the 2022 season. He was primarily limited to special teams duties, playing just 69 defensive snaps across 13 games, indicating a diminished role within the team.
