NFL Rumors: Tennessee Titans Quarterback Could Miss 53-Man Roster This Year
Just a year after drafting young Liberty Quarterback Malik Willis, who disappointed and reportedly has lost the confidence of the coaching staff and front office, which could now potentially lead to him missing the 53-man roster in 2023/24.
This report comes after the team drafted Will Levis with the second pick of the second round in the 2023 NFL Draft, and if he doesn't play well in training camp, this is a team that likes to carry just two QB's on their 53-man roster, so it could spell an early end to his time in Tennessee.
It's hard not to feel Willis has been hard done by here, as he was expected to be a a prospect that needed a year or two to learn, and after playing poorly to end the regular season, it appears they've now given up on him, and if a team out there wants to use patience, they'll no doubt have a solid starting QB one day.
