New Orleans Saints Linked To Former Steelers Wide Receiver

The New Orleans Saints made the massive move to bring in free agent Quarterback Derek Carr this off-season, and with Michael Thomas and Chris Olave on the outside, they're confident he can help them compete in the NFC South, but now, they're looking for depth among their skill position groups.

Former second-round pick dealt with foot injury with Dallas last season but is healthy now. Had promising moments in Pittsburgh with 1,629 yards and 11 TDs from 2018-21.

On Monday, the team will now officially host former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver James Washington, who had a stellar first four years in the NFL before dealing with injuries and inconsistencies over the past two years.

In his time with the Steelers, Washington racked up 114 catches for 1,629 yards and 11 Touchdowns, and if he were to be signed in New Orleans, he would become a solid No. 4 option for this team that appears ready to make a massive leap in 2023.
