Kansas City Chiefs Sign Veteran Offensive Tackle
The Kansas City Chiefs have put together one of the best rosters in the NFL over the past five or six seasons, and with that success comes players getting paid, and much like offensive tackle Orlando Brown this off-season, Kansas City just don't have the cap space to keep them all around.
The team have done a masterful job at re-tooling the line since that point, as they have not only added former Jacksonville Jaguar Jawaan Taylor, but they've now signed former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and Super Bowl winning tackle Donovan Smith.
The deal is for one-year and is worth up to $9 million, and with this move, the team now have two veteran names in front of MVP and Super Bowl winning QB Patrick Mahomes, so once again, keep an eye on the Chiefs in 2023/24.Veteran OT Donovan Smith is signing with the #Chiefs on a one-year deal worth up to $9 million, per source.
