Free Agent Cornerback Announces He Has Torn Achilles
The off-season has been full of fantastic stories and big moves thus far, but unfortunately, injuries are still a part of the NFL whether on the game field or training field, and unfortunately, veteran cornerback Kevin King found that out recently.
The 2017 draft pick of the Green Bay Packers announced that while training recently, he tore his achilles, meaning that he will remain a free agent and unfortunately miss the entirety of the 2023 NFL season, a heart breaker for someone trying to find a team going forward.
King has dealt with injury issues throughout his NFL career, and this is just another set back for him, so hopefully he can get back to 100% over the next 12 months and make his return to the league in 2024, as he is still full of potential.Update: Former #Packers 2nd round pick, CB Kevin King, tore his Achilles while working out, meaning he'll likely miss the 2023 season.

King just turned 28-years old and went unsigned last season. He'll now likely remain a free-agent until at least the 2024 season.
